    hello
    i'm having some problems with encoded files with my canopus advc 1394.. i don't know whats wrong.
    when i encode at vcd or dvd low resolution the result is better than at dvd cbr 8000kbps.. i guess something is wrong here.
    i did snapshots from my encodes so i hope someone can tell me something.
    all the samples i did were with tmpegenc and all with the same advanced settings. the only diferences is on the templates. none of this samples has noise reduction or any other kinda of filter.
    check the samples at this temp http://pwp.netcabo.pt/0248749101/advc1394 that i did.

    i thought my question could be in both forums.

    maybe it should stay only on the other forum then cause my source is avi captured with my card. no?
