  1. Can anyone tell me if it's possible to convert a dvd stored on hardrive to svcd. If possible what software to use.

    sefy's guides are really excellent...even thou they are for VCDs...they can easily be adapted to making SVCDs...

  4. Thanks! and lets face it, all you need to do is change the encoding/authoring to SVCD instead of VCD and that's about it 8)

    One day i'll manage to get DVD2SVCD in the guide as well, if I ever get the thing to load with a screen capture utility without crashing

    Have you tried using CAPTURE 98 to do your screenshots? I used it for screenshots on NERO speed to see how fast my toshiba 1712 dvdrom can rip a movie. If you haven't tried that program let me know and I could email it to you.

    I Always use Paint Shop Pro, which is heavy program, but I like the image manipulation capabilities it has

    If Capture 98 is Shareware/Freeware then there is no problem mentioning it on the forums, we just don't support Warez
