Can anyone tell me if it's possible to convert a dvd stored on hardrive to svcd. If possible what software to use.![]()

sefy's guides are really excellent...even thou they are for VCDs...they can easily be adapted to making SVCDs...

Thanks! and lets face it, all you need to do is change the encoding/authoring to SVCD instead of VCD and that's about it 8)
One day i'll manage to get DVD2SVCD in the guide as well, if I ever get the thing to load with a screen capture utility without crashingEmail me for faster replies!

Have you tried using CAPTURE 98 to do your screenshots? I used it for screenshots on NERO speed to see how fast my toshiba 1712 dvdrom can rip a movie. If you haven't tried that program let me know and I could email it to you.

Never heard of that program actually
I Always use Paint Shop Pro, which is heavy program, but I like the image manipulation capabilities it has
If Capture 98 is Shareware/Freeware then there is no problem mentioning it on the forums, we just don't support Warez
