  1. I have a movie split into 3 clips all encoded with Xvid codec
    They are all 23.976 FPS
I separated the audio to .wav
    The first clip went falwlessly
But the second clip is 3 times bigger (700mb) and the TMPGenc always fails changing it at the same spot
    What can i do?

it might have some bad frames, and it keeps there at the same spot, and the time and size keeps on rising.

If you scan and remove bad frames before anything else, you can avoid all kinds of trouble. Here's a guide.

  6. I do this
    (Load your avi
Video > Check video for freezes)

    Whats This?

Now open the log, it may have several bad blocks, so you need to delete the highest block numbers first (At keyframes)

It says the log is c:badframes.log whats that?

It's a text file that you can open with notepad (or similar editor) use the text file to edit your avi.

At the bottom of the guide is a link to Q & A's all about Tender's guide, you may find it helpfull. As well, Tender's can you help you if you can't find the answer to your particular problem.

What was the report when Vdub had finished scanning? It should say "bad frames found and logged" or "no bad frames found."

The log file is c:\badframes.log, not xmpeglog.
