Hi Guys, I have a home brewed movie that has a rubbishy sound track and I want to replace it wth a music one. Do I have to convert the mp3 track to a mp2 ? and if so, can I do it in TMPGEnc, and where do I start?
    Thanks in advance

well if your movie is already a vcd or mpeg ,

goto tmpgenc file mpeg tools demultiplex

with that you separate audio from video you got video (m2v) and audio (mp2) . we dont care about audio cause you dont like it .

after that you got to convert mp3 file to wav file . some software do it.

then just encode your video file (m2v) with your audio file(wav) in tmpgenc .

you got your movie with your soundtrack.

    hope it help

  3. Yes, they need to be mp2.

    Yes TMPGEnc will do it.

Just use the mp3 as your audio source, and it will do the conversions for you.

I was playing around with this yesterday, so its fresh in my mind

  5. line #3 of my post above.

When it asks for the video source, use your video source.
When it asks for the audio source, use your mp3.

When you make the new MPEG2 video to be burned on a SVCD, the mp3 audio will be in mp2 format
