I have a movie and know how to encode whatever needed. I there an article/guide/way to make the movie and have the soundtrack music as a menu option? Does ULead do this?

It totally depends on your authoring application, so based on that the answer will be different. Also the format of your sountrack makes a difference as well.
I am assuming you have the soundtrack as MP3's? If your authoring application can make menus with background music, then you could simply make a menu page for each mp3, and then link them however you want.
So short answer, yes you can do it. Longer answer, we need more info on what application you are using to help you beyond that.

I'm new to making DVD's and haven't yet settled on what authoring app to use. I've used ULead and Pinnacle Instacopy thus far with success. Can I do that with these apps?
I'm strongly considering moving to DVD-lab for the flexibility. Suggestions for the right authoring app?
