  1. I am demuxing a mpeg-2 using TMPGEnc Plus 2.5. I've done this a few times before, but for some reason certain files give me problems. These files aren't any different (that I can tell) than any of the others. Also, when playing the mpeg-2 on my pc I don't have any problems.

On to my problem, I will be demuxing and the progress bar will be moving right along...52%(35 seconds left)...53(32)...56(29)...100%. The bar will just jump to 100%?!? When I view the m2v the video will, of course, end about half way through.

Does anyone have any ideas what might be causing this?

    Thanks,
    Mick

Load it into Virtual Dub MPEG-2 mod and see if it has any bad frames.
    Hello.

  3. I did a Frame Scan on one of the files. No bad frames. No good, but unencodable frames.

Problem is due to some corruption in the file. If the problem is not too severe-encoding in TMPGEnc to seperate the audio and video might work. This method has helped me out with some mpg1 files.

    Try a re-encode.
I'm not online anymore. Ask BALDRICK, LORDSMURF or SATSTORM for help. PM's are ignored.
