This is regarding the movie Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. When I play it, it crashes at a certain time into the movie (at 2 separate places in the file) and the player crashes.
I was wondering what I could do to fix this? Maybe a program that would let me just take out those few bad frames? Or does someone have another suggestion? I'd be happy to hear anything, any help is appreciated, thanks.

(the file is bad, it is not because of the download, I downloaded it twice and got the same problem with both files, same time)

Sounds like you need to install Xvid Codec. Sorry, i don't know much about Xvid other than it's an open source video compression format. Try this for an Xvid codec and try this for info. about Xvid. You may have to join the forum at www.doom9.org to access the previous URL.
Also dude, chill out the references to the movies that you are trying to convert. This forum does not promote duplication of copywrited movies. You could get banned for talking about it or even start the movie police lurking around here.
