    Hey does anyone know how i could get dvds to work on this dvd player. It says that it supports svcds but everytime i try to play 1, it recognizes it as a svcd but tells me that it cannto play the disc. Can someone help me out and tell me how u got svcds to work on the samsung dvd-711

    I don't know if I can help you, but I have the samsung 7-11 and have been playing svcd's without a problem.

    I burned them following the instructions on this site, with nero.
