    Does anyone know if the SVA DP-262 is made by Sampoo. I have a Sharp DV-740 and it looks just like this SVA player on Buy.Com here

    Just curious because if so, that would be a great deal at $59.95.

    No, SVA make players in their own right, so it almost certainly isn't a Sampo.

    The casing is from the Sharp DV740, though, you're right ! I bet Sharp wouldn't be too happy if they knew SVA were selling this player ! I suspect the components won't be as good as Sampo's somehow...
