  1. Just a heads up to everyone. Tomorrow Target will be selling TDk 20 packs of 2X DVD-R media for $29.99 (Normally $44.99) and TDK 20 packs of 4X DVD+R media for $29.99 (Normally $44.99). It will be in their flyer tomorrow morning. I suggest you go buy as many as you can today and price match tomorrow so they are not sold out.

Are these compatible with Pioneer 104? I wonder because I am stuck with 10 Optodisc DVD-RW coasters trying to get a bargain.

I have a friend with a 104 and he uses TDK 2x -R all the time. I have a couple of his discs and they work fine.

  5. without State sales Tax that is less then $1.50 per disk. Especially for the 4x DVD+R's. Definitely a heads up....I may have to jump on a couple of packs. Where did you hear about this deal?

  7. FWIW The TDK 4X +Rs work great in the Sony DRU500a 2.0f firmware for me.

They were $189 before tax at Best Buy in a spindle of 100.

The starter of this thread didn't say either way but I'm guessing 20 pack spindles?

Did anyone notice the disparity? 2X -R and 4X +R media for the same price.....

Is +R media cheaper to make?

  8. I use them in a Mac Superdrive (103/firmware 1.90) and they burn at 2x!!! They are the only ones that burn at 2x on my drive other than Apple branded 2x ($3.00@) and branded Maxell 2x($3.00-4.00@). Damn, I just bought a 100 pack spindle at Best Buy for the $189.00 3 days ago and thought that was a steal! 100 at the Target price would be only$150.00!!!! THIS ALWAYS HAPPENS TO ME!!!! ...... LOL

Sorry about the delay. It will be in the flyer for Target on Sunday morning. And yes they are the 20 pack spindles.

Hi all im from England, heres some good places to buy reasonable price DVD+RW and +R in the Uk. Lord of the Deals , very reasonable and good prompt service, mainly Infinity Disc but work well with my Philips DVD Recorder, RWs work out around £2.50 each by the time you take postage into account. Also Tescos selling TDK a little dearer but of course no waiting for delivery. PC world 5 Philips DVD+RWs at £25.00.
The worst buy I have found is Sainsburys selling DVD+R at £9.99 that is daylight robbery, can anyone beat that for the worst price.
Great Forum by the way. Cobra
