winrar says a movie is larger then 4gb and refuses to process it.
Is there any way around this?

make sure ur hard drive ur extracting it to is NTFS...If its Fat32, it wont let u have files bigger than 4gig..guess thats ur problem

You are right NTFS will handle files larger than 4gb. The puzzle goes back a little further though. What is the source that makes it larger than 4gb. Why would anyone post a file that large knowing that no one can burn it to dvdr which is 4.47gb. I've posted this question to the poster but as yet no reply. This is a real puzzler. Hope someone can solve it.
