Hi!
Having trouble flashing my nec1300a burner. Have seen that other people had the same problem and that your supposed to remove nero 6 which I did but when flashing with firmware from herrie all I get is a error:drive not responding correctly.
Is there a way to unlock the drive somehow?
Should I remove the player and then put it pack -- might that do the trick?
Mike

How did you go about flashing your firmware? What OS are you running? Did you follow the instructions and flash it in DOS? I flashed my drive by booting to a Windows 98 CD-ROM on my XP system and running the flash utility from a floppy disc - had no problems whatsoever and my drive is still going strong over 2 months later.
