Nero can't detect my HP CD writer .Help !! . It only show " image recorder" . PLease help

Have you tried visiting the Nero site and seeing if there is a free upgrade to the latest version which could include support for your drive?

Invariably that's due to old software that doesn't recognize a new drive.

@c1steady,
the newer versions of nero requires registration keys specific to a brand. i.e. if you use a key to register nero that only recognizes Pioneer drives, then any other brand drives on your computer (i.e. HP) will not be recognized by nero.
