I have an HP 300i DVD+RW drive, and have been test burning my first DVD to a +RW disc using the ImgTool -> DVD Decrypter ISO Write Mode method. Using the HP compatibility mode setting utility, I set the drive to mode 2, which is book type DVD-ROM. The DVD+RW though is burned with a book type of DVD+RW instead of DVD-ROM. I verified this with DVDInfo as well as HP's compatibility mode setting utility. Is it possible to burn DVD+Rs/+RWs with a book type of DVD-ROM using DVD Decrypter? I would like to know this before I waste a DVD+R, as my player won't read the disc unless its book type is DVD-ROM. Thanks!
