My DVD player wont play DVD-MP3 and it looks like most dont seem to accept this format. I have been getting around this by using WinOnCd 6.0 DVD Ed. which will make a DVD Music Album using Mpeg-1 audio formats. It works pretty well, although I had to use a DVD+R/W to make it work, seems like there is some data component to the disc. With this method I have made a DVD with 700 songs on it, that is like 40 or 50 albums on one disc.

What I would like to know, is there anyway to make a disc using only wav audio, and therefore not encoding the audio, something like a DVD-PCM Wav disc. I should be able to get about 6 or 7 albums on one disc this way. Any ideas?
    thx.

  2. If I was to do that, I'd create a menu from a still picture of the CD-cover, then type the song title on another picture with the cover in the background, hence showing what song is being played. Then you can specify how long the still picture should be shown, which would be the song length + 2 seconds or so. This way you can add LPCM tracks and/or Dolby Digital/DTS/MPEG audio tracks.

under the write mode select Track at once vs Disc/Session at once
I had a similar error message when creating vcd's under winoncd 5.

You are probably limited to 99 menu items or titles. In this case, music albums are limited it would appear. I didnt max these out, i just used about 25 albums with a ton of songs in each. As far as I know, there are no restrictions on songs in an album. Try loading up the albums but stay under 99 and see what happens.

  10. I now just made an muziek album with 5 album with each 30 songs in it but it still gives me the same error, and if you put songs in albums on the left in the menu it say howmany songs you got and at 90 it became in red letters so that must be the limit but i just used 5 albums with 30 songs so how is this possible? It is only 600 mb wich i use

i have not done this with winoncd, i have created a DVD with every No1 Single from 1955-2003, each year is a seperate folder so i dont have 99 folders, this plays well in my Cyberhome as i can select each year individually. so the point is if you can select folders individually on your stand alone player i think it would be possible to create your album projects and save to hard drive, maybe 3 or 4 projects could be burnt to dvd under different folders therefore no 99 restriction. i havent done this so i an just guessing , hope it works
