I have been using this great product since it first came out but still have some questions. When i transfer SVCD to DVD the screen size still remains 480 which plays ok on my PS2 but not on a large amount of other machines. I have tried to repatch the headers or Entire file to 352 which seems better, The problem is when i repatch the files I get Green pixelation on the right of the screen,,,,,
Whats the best way to screen size to 352 or any other DVD compliant size so I can run it through TPENG DVD Author for example. Many thanks in advance to all

I get the same thing. I followed the guides in using Ulead DVD Movie Factory to Author (easy). SVCD2DVDMPG automatically de-multiplexes, ups the audio to 48khz, multiplexes then patches the first header of each to 352x576.......
I could then add all the files to Movie Factory and create a menu, then outputted to the hard drive creating the video_ts folder. Using WINDVD Recorder I could not play the disc BUT when I re-patched the VOB headers using DVDPatcher back to 480x576 it plays fine BUT only on the PC. When outputting through the TV-Out to the TV it shows exactly what you descibe, large Green Pixalation blocks on the right of the screen with the movie squashed horizontally to the left of screen. I also tried patching the entire file with different sizes but made no difference. In the end as the guide said "Is it worth the hassle?" NO...... and I gave up. Although I found it interesting that the PC software played it fine so maybe it will work if you burnt to a DVD and played on a standalone DVD Player. Maybe the problem exists in the way the VGA Card outputs to TV ? -
Dude, I don't even own a Playstation.........
I am strictly working on a PC with DVD ISO images, I don't even own a DVD Writer yet.
I author and create ISO's on my HDD for output to TV through my Graphics Card. -
on my PS2
But why do you go through all this trouble when you can watch the origional eps just fine on you tv with your graphics card. But you did and now it isn't working.
If your repatching the first time your fooling the author tool to except your files. So you need to repatch back to get the real size then you hope the device you play the dvd in will see it as dvd but play it as svcd cause thats still what it is.
Why isn't it working through your grapics card maybe because it is outputting what it sees dvd and not what it is svcd so thats why you get this.[/code] -
Did you REPATCH the VOB files after you Compiled the DVD....Ive used this APP numerous times and have gotten perfect results every time......the resulting DVDs play on PS2, PC, and Standalone DVD player
