    I have finished backing up a bunch of my dvd's and oddly, a couple of them lost their navigation bars on the menu--you know the things that let you know what you are selecting. The only thing i removed were the extra soundtracks--everything thing else stayed--anyone else have this prob and how did you fix it?

    Have seen this once or twice with the initial version and stopped using it. I've tried v.2.3 extensivelly these past couple of weeks and had no such problems any more. Could be that it's fixed now.
    The more I learn, the more I come to realize how little it is I know.

  3. Not to go off topic, but it seems that Shrink still has some bugs in it. I backed up Band of Brothers and for some strange reason I can't turn off the french subtitles. It would just start with them and pressing the subtitle button doesn't do anything.

    have you tried going to the actual subtitle menu and turning off the subs that way....some DVDs don't allow you to switch subtitles and/or audio by simply pressing the "subtitle" and "audio" buttons, respectively

    @menace,

    did you remove anything from the menu, while using dvdshrink....any audio and/or subpictures?? "shrinking" the video of the menu is ok, but removing anything else might cause problems, as the menu buttons and other navigational stuff might be stored in subpicture, etc...
