  1. And I was wondering, what is the best encode statregy?

    I want the least blockishness in picture...

    Is there a calculator to determine file size for various codecs/bitrates?

    How do u guys do it?

    try another video reselution other than 720*480 try this one 352*480 or if you want 480*480 but you will have less problems with compatability with 352*480=CVD MPEG 2 use whatever bitrate you want just dont go lower than 1300 cause you might get some pixels on fast moving shit. and if you need a low bitrate try VBR or CQ.
