I have a weird problem that gave me no rest for two days now. My system was perfectly working, but then it suddenly started dropping frames at some points, after periods of flawless capture. I though my HD started giving up, so I got a new one. Same thing!
After trying almost everything, I went back to an older Drive Image of my Win2K system, and hey, it works. Thinking about it, I do not recall doing anything extreme, besides installing Canon TWAIN driver for my PowerShot S50. As a check, I installed it - yep, dropped frames.
Anyone encountered this problem before? I mean, how am I going to transfer pictures AND keep my capture working?
Thank you for any advice.
