Annoying Pink color fades in and out of divxs

Annoying Pink color fades in and out of divxs , they play fine in mplayer2 , but the effect appears when i prepare the video for vcd mpgs [using avi straight into tmpeg[free], then burn mpg w/ nero ].

i have installed the nimo codec pack [reluctantly] , and i believe this has to do with with divx311.

i only installed nimo because i was previously unable to even open div311 file in Vdub [ didnt know was div311 at the time ] .

thanks for your time / effort , i have done google search [ site:www.dvdrhelp.com pink ] and dint find any appropiate solutions, so if this post already exists elsewere , i missed it. sorry.
