Its been a while since Ive been on videhelp site and its been a great resource in the past, Ive learned alot.
Recently Ive been having some problems with my video capture/tv tuner card. I have an ATI tuner card, its the
PCI version which is about 3-4 years old. (dont laugh) Recently when I capture audio/video the sound that is captured fades in and out very noticably. It doesnt matter which source I use it fades. Is this a problem with the tuner card or the soundcard. My specs are an Epox NForce 2 AMD Athlon Barton 3200+ 1 gig of ram Windows XP Pro. Ive reformatted my Harddrive and reinstalled the drivers. Im using MMC 9.08
Im willing to get a new capture card but I would like to know whether it is video card or sound. dont want to get the wrong one. By the way the sound is onboard. Been looking at the Hauppauge WinTV-PVR-150
Thanks in advance
