I just cut a clip from an AC-3 MPEG, but the new clip has no sound.

I cannot seem to find any option to allow me to keep the sound. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Isn't mpeg2vcr supposed to allow me to record a portion of an MPEG, sound and all?

    Thanks,
    Brian

    You are right

    SOMETHING is AMISS
last night I used WOMBLE to FIX the TAO of Steve Succesfully (SORT OF)

Lissen cause its about AC3 audio.. which will show up in 90%
of the VOB's you load into WOMBLE.others.like you NO AUDIO- DUNNO WHY

The VOB 1_3 in this movie(not the last but the second to last) had such errors, it wouldn't copy off a DVD I burned last year.
So I used WOMBLE to copy up to the ERROR, avoid the error,
and then to the end of the VOB

THESE TWO CLIPS, COMPLETE WITH AC3 audio were combined in the program and re saved.
THE VOB, NOW only .98GIGS (not .99 like all VOB's)
was renamed and added back to the VIDEO_TS (now effectively replacing the bad original which couldn't copy to my hard drive anyway)

    IT SORTA WORKED
anyway WOMBLE PRESERVED the 5.1 dolby, the 2.0 stereo & the directors comentary..
WHAT WOMBLE f*cked was the chapters..so the dvd only sorta is fixed..EVERYTHING WORKS except if you try to access menu or chapters during the still somewhat abnormal 3rd VOB , and never recovers by the end of the movie.. But If you're just watchin the movie, It continues to the end and If you wanna cue to any of the BAD Chapters , it works THE FIRST TIME from the menus-but then you goota stay watching

    NOT RIGHT but Interesting, huh?
ALSO, NERO BURNED it without problem..I CAN'T BELIEVE It acceped the shortened VOB (not the last in the movie , either!)

Others ...what have you done If you can't SEE Ac3 assets of your clips when you load em?
