I am wondering what the maximum size for DVD-R. Usually I get 4.20 -4.30GB if I set autosize. I notice the actual size in terms of bytes is about 4,500,000,000 - 4,700,000,000 bytes.
If I use customzied szie and set to 4.38GB, the actual size is around 4,701,000,000 bytes. What's the maximum size of pdi can be burn on a DVD-R? I thought it's 4.38GB, i.e., 4,702,989,189 bytes.
So should I always set compressed size to 4.38GB?
I use DVDShrink to compress extra to still image and then use IC to compress. But there seems to be a problem - still image can't be played. Does anyone have the same problem?
Also I am wondering if the size of pdi files is the same as the final image size.
Overall, IC has better quality than others though it takes more time.
