  1. I am backing up Good Luck Chuck (I know, I know, another typical "Tuesday post"...).

It ripped fine with DVDFab HD. Opened in DVD Shrink, and reported an audio filesize of 7MB. It also wouldn't offer a lower compression than 98%. (6GB+) I shrunk it anyway, to see if a second pass would fix it, but the first run through actually shrunk it to single disc unexpectedly. It still reads the audio as only 7MB, but plays fine.

Is it a problem with how it was ripped? I've never seen this before (though I read 'Pursuit of Happiness' did this sort of thing).

  2. After I shrunk it, I burned it to a RW and re-ripped with RipIt4Me, to get the benefit of the cleaning up. The resulting files did indeed have the proper audio size reported. Go figure.
