    Is there a easy way to create VCDs with jpeg images and a background music? I saw couple of guides on this site, but all of them looked complex.

    load the template... load the Jpeg or bitmap and then load the song..

    go to this site's home page. click on proshow ad (top right).
    does a tops job and does more than just VCD.
    just drag and drop pics and music and hit create.
