Does anybody know if there will be any pros or cons using the new WinFS File System for digital Video?
Microsoft is breaking new ground with Longhorn, successor to XP. The upcoming WinFS file system will be the first to be context-dependent, and promises to make long search times and wasted memory a thing of the past. Today, THG compares it to FAT and NTFS.

Do you think disabling indexing in NTFS file System will speed up capping or encoding video?

its a good idea for capture -- as for encoding , i doubt it would make much diff..
