  1. Hello,

    I would like to know how capture 8mm and 16mm film.
    I know that u can recording the video with a DV camcorder as it is projected onto a screen by a Super-8 projector.
    What I want is where I can read about, equipments, and so on to do it.
    Have good information on:

    8mm should play in ur camcorder if it supports D8.

    Do a web search for Projector and Multiplexer or film scanner. There are a few companies that make them.. Mine are custom made by a friend who builds telescopes for celestrial photography. Before you ask, Sorry, no he does not make them for sale. really good film scanners go from $3500.00 and up. You can go with the muliplexer like I have for less. Then it is all down the the Camcorder..
