  1. I just purchased a Panasonic super burner (SW9571, see my post in the DVD Writers section). I am wondering what would be the best, inexpensive DVD-RW media to use in it. I am using Acu DVD-R with no problems, but I don't have any DVD-RWs and don't want to buy a cake box only to discover they won't work!
Also any advice regarding DVD-Ram media for same burner would be appreciated!

  2. I tried Imation DVD-RW. They work most of the time, but one turned into a coaster about half-way through a burn and now none of my burning software will recognize it. Nero attempted to erase and start it over but nothing. I have ordered a short stack (make that a small cake box) of DVD-RW, DVD-Pro brand, as it was listed on a site's compatibility list for the Panasonic burner. Will update when I try them out.

  3. Hello, again. DVD-PRO -RW Brand burn about 90 percent of the time. Nero doesn't like them much, but they burn okay with other software. Occasionally, one becomes a coaster. Finished discs are finicky -- will play on Panasonic standalone most of the time. Daewoo player will play one but not another. Lots of strange behavior not experienced with DVD-R of any brand.
Still looking for a DVD-RW that works well.
