    hi please can someone help me i have downloaded 2 .avi files and they both appear to be a blank grey screen.
    i have checked with avicodec and it reports that i have the correct codecs installed.
    have i just downloaded 2 corrupt files or am i missing something .

    how about a little more info. what were the codecs needed? what are you trying to view them with? if you can post this info, we can probably help you.
