  1. i've already done straight DVDs, but I want to do DVD-VCDs also. I already know all the VCD video, 48khz mp2 audio stuff. My question is burning:

I tried SONIC MYDVD, which came with my burner, but it doubles the filesizes for some reason (a 1g movie takes up 2g discspace). Couldn't find an option to correct this. Then I tried ULEAD MOVIE FACTORY, but had some unpredictable audio sync problems with certain files (tho all were encoded the same and all played fine before burn) and they played really weird on my computer, but fine on standalones except for the sync probs. (The working files it uses to burn played weird too, so it's not the burner)

I just want something more reliable (with as many options and as little $$)
menus would be cool but unnecessary

So, Anyone got a fav. burn program they use?
    (for DVD-VCDs)

  2. Yea Nero, get a Mintek dvd player and just burn the vcd as a dvd-data iso and it will read the disc and play WITHOUT authoring, no waiting 6+ hrs to author a dvd with ulead or any other authoring program.
It plays anything i burn on it s/vcd...pal/ntsc...etc :P
