Anyone else going to Le Mans 24hr race this weekend ?

I'm going this weekend with 11 others and I was curious if anyone else on this site is going? Not that I want to meet anyone down there for beer and talk about DVD copying or anything like that - Unless you are female

We're setting off Thursday evening. 22:30ish Eurotunnel crossing to Calais/Coquelles and hoping to break the back of the journey through to the early hours and try and get a few zzzz's in the cars before completing the journey on Friday morning. We'll be in a 6-car convoy and I doubt we'll all manage to stay together all the way. Last year there were three cars and we couldn't manage it so no hope for six.

The first driver/passenger pairing in our group to get nicked for speeding by the ever so friendly Gendarmerie will have to buy the first few rounds of beer at one of the bars at the circuit or be tasked with putting up all the other's tents !! (I know which one I'd be choosing - I'm taking a extra Euros incase).

If anyone else is going then have a safe journey and try not to trip over your beer mountain when staggering back to your tent in the dark !!

The race doesn't start until Saturday afternoon, still plenty of time to catch a Fed Ex Cargo :P
