TMPGenc Won't Cut An Mpeg2 Anymore With Mpeg Tools

I used to use Tmpgenc to cut all my finished Mpeg2 files in half ready to put on disk but for some reason now it wont ?

When i add the file to cut and merge it goes in ok as normal, then click edit and i get the editing section with the slider bar at the bottom, But the slider bar won't move to the right and i cant set any times for the cut.

Does anyone have any idea ? I'm not doing anything different than usual so this is real weird

Or is there a better tool for the job ?

i was using 2.5.11 and ive upgraded to 2.5.12 to try and fix it but no good either

Im not sure if i was using a version older than 2.5.11 the last time i did one

you can use "mpeg tool" to cut the mpeg file,
its much faster then tmpeg anyway.

its a grate little program.

but i think you will have to multiplex again after you cut...

I CHECKED IT OUT, AND YOU DONT HAVE TO MULTIPLEX
AFTER YOU CUT, IT WORKS GRATE WITH NERO.

Does seem to work ok with nero but VCDEasy (to make chapters), don't like it at all, It won't accept the file made by it

Tmgenc wont accept the file for multiplexing or Demultiplexing aswell

Is there anything a bit newer ?

i tried to multiplex using tmpeg, and it DID work,
so i think the problem is in your mpeg file.
try it on another mpeg file and see what happens.

i have tried it on a number of files and didnt have the problem you are having.
i think you have a bad mpeg or something, thats why tmpeg gave you
problems to begin with.
