I used dvd decrypter to rip 2 layer 1 dvd's. Then I used TMPGEnc DVD Author to create a new dvd (about 5.6 gb) with my own menu and only the things I wanted. Then I ran DVD2ONE and I got an error message about 36 percent through "Encrypted data detected, DVD2ONE can not decrypt protected data." I know it's not protected because I ripped it, and it will work if I don't reauthor it. Anybody have this problem and know a solution?

you must use ALL of the original files from the DVD to process with DVD2ONE. it is really picky like that

My workaround was to use dvd2one first and shrink each one to 2.2 gb each then used TMPGEnc DVD Author to create Menu.
I also email tech support for dvd2one and got the following response:

Because TMPGEnc add padding blocks to the stream ... that's why.

I will make a workaround for this in the next version, for the moment ask the maker of TMPGEnc to remove those unnecessary padding blocks.
