    does anyone know how i can convert a mov file to divx or xvid file?

    i wanted to convert it to a divx 5 but after i installed the divx 5 codec i removed gator and it won't work. it keeps saying that i need to reinstall gator to use the codec. is there someway i can get around that?

    Why don't you just do your convertion then get rid of Gator?
