Samsung 618J won't play SVCD until you warm it up.

I have Samsung 618J that i bought last spring.the problem is it won't play any SVCD until you play a cd,vcd or dvd in about one hour.i thought it have to be warm up to play SVCD.And it's going worst now 'cause it's getting cold here and it hardly can play SVCD even if i play cd for about an hour.
So if anybody have any solutions or comments about my problem?

Actually I'm sicked with this machine and I think I want to throw it away.But i wanna know is anybody got better ideas.I've cracked this machine to be multiregion DVD player so easily and that's why i still keep it.

This player is a Japanese model and it doesn't indicates it can play SVCD in its manual.SVCD isn't popular here and people still like VHS.but DVD is becoming popular.

I think the international model of this machine can play SVCD.Why they don't support it in Japanese model.
