  1. I gonna try to do slide show from CD.
    Can somebody help me with manual or just tell steps how to do such CD?

If you're going to take on the task of making a slide show large enough to populate a CD, (I'm assuming a hundred pictures or more) in the long run to get quality results you're be happier by first doing any touch up and cropping with a graphic application like Photoshop. My advice is to first make all the images the same size to avoid introducing any aspect ratio problems once you move on to building the video.

    Use a timeline based editor and set the time each image appears on screen to the same value. It adds a lot to have smooth transitions between each photo instead of having them just jump on screen one after the other. Something like a medium disolve with feathered edges starting in the upper left hand corner moving across the image at a 45 degree angle between 1.5-3 seconds, with each still on sceen somewhere in the 4-10 second range. Add a sound track and you can have quite a show. Avoid having different transitions between similar photos, pick one you like and stick with it but do vary transitions slightly from series to series especially if you have hundreds of photos. Just my two cents.
