what's the easiest way to put a DVD into DIVX format? every program i try messes up or freezes. Flash MPEG hasn't been working for me. Also my DVD ripping speed SUX hardcore. I have a 16x with teh DMA enabled adn it still rips at a max of 1.2 or 1.5 and that's just for a second or two. This is the first time i've tried this but someone PLEASE HELP ME.
Thanks

learn how to use sbc pack in nandub....i have a 288 mhz computer and the one time i dared try the conversion, the results were great after not touching the computer for a LOOOOOOOOOOOONG time! nothing can be done about the wait on crappy computers

sorry, that should read 266 mhz...and i have a 12x drive, and used dvddecrypter.exe, and it only took me about a half hour or so to copy a whole movie to hard disk

Did you check out the nicky pages? There you will find the finest guides available on the net. There is a very good flaskMpeg guide there.
Go to http://www.digital-digest.com/nickyguides/
Hope this helps. -
Thanks guys, i have tried the nicky pages and my FLASK doesn't work, it freezes everytime i use it, it does the same on my friend's computer as well. I'm running a 1.2 ghz overclocked to 1.4 so i have no problem with speed. But i'll try once again...those who pursue will always find a way to win.
