    Does anyone know if Nero 5.5.9.17 will accept a DVD video file with AC3 or MPEG layer 2 audio? Or if it will convert the audio to LPCM? I'm not talking about separate video and audio streams, just one file with the MPEG2 video, and AC3 or MPEG layer 2 audio. And what about if you burn the DVD in the DVD-ROM (UDF) mode in Nero? Can I assume that Nero wouldn't convert the audio in that case? If any one can clue me in, I would really appreciate it Thanks for the help.

    Standard Nero or Nero Express can NOT author dvds, it can only burn already authored dvd folders. You must use an author tool to make a working dvd-video. www.dvdrhelp.com/author#dvd

    So once I author the DVD (with another program) Nero will just burn it to the DVD?
