I have been using TMPG in Virtual PC to make mpeg2 (SVCD) files able to play on my DVD player. I use the Mpeg Tools and the multiplexing function. I thought that I was converting the file to an MPEG1 VCD ready file. Someone told me that I am actually just adding some sort of header to the MPEG2 file to make it read as an MPEG1. ?????
What I really want to do is stop using my virtual PC to do this. Am I able to do this with ffmpeg? And if not, what programs are out there?
I have not had much success with this program.
