  1. I started to backup my dvd's. I figuered out with dvd recordable my dvd player plays, but the problem that i have remains. The burn is successfull but i"m not able to play disc 1 on my dvd player ( i use dvdxcopy). When i insert disk 2 it plays the backup with no problem. I tried to remove the dvdbackuptag didn't work. I burned the first disk with the options start movie keep menu (disc 2 is burned like that) but still no success. Anyone got on idea? I use a sony dru500ax and my default burnprogram (sony veritas).
Disk 2 runs fine and disc 1 doesn't but the 2 discs do play on my pc and xbox.

    Any suggestions

  3. Well, I still have to find a nero version which supports my dvd-burner (sonydru500ax) and i tried to make a copy with dvdxcopy but i got the message that the disc was a copy (or something like that) an it wouldn't read my backup dvd. I burned a copy of the dvd with instant copy but still have the same problem.

  4. You can download Nero trial version at
    http://www.ahead.de/en/index.html
and i know for sure that it supports your dvd burner.
Why don't you use DVD Shrink to rip movie and burn with whatever you got right now.
    Good luck

  5. How are you making DISC1....there are many options such as "Start with Movie " etc.... I find the "Start with movie keep menu" solves this problem. You can always access the menu by hitting the menu button on ur Remote.
