how do i convert an avi file to dvd using tmpgenc when the sound is this format ?WAVE_FORMAT_AC3 the pic is ok but i get no sound ..please help

Hi !
I have done this a couple of times. You should find it easy.
1. Open the avi using virtual dub. File, Open and select the file.
2. Then do File, Save Wav and save the wav.
3. Open TMPGenc and load up the DVD profile.
4. In the video source select your avi.
5. In the audio source select you wav.
6. Select the output and press START.
You don't have to seperate the audio but on my XP 1400 this reduces the encoding time from 6/7 hours to 2 hours and less. This reduction works for all Divxs whether they have AC3 or MP3 audio.
