TMPEGenc problems

I have been encodeing DivX and XviD files without problems till now!

I have been trying to convert three different movies and things seem to be going fine, until it hits around 50%, then the screen goes black, and it converts the file to complete darkness and no sound either.

Anyone know what this could be?

I am trying to convert my spy kids 2 movie (for my kids...lol) from a avi to mpeg useing TMPGEnc. I have tried useing CBR, and VBR setting,and i keep running into the same problem. Everything seems to be going fine until it gets to the middle of the movie, then the screen goes black with no audio. I thought it might be the file so i tested another movie (My big fat greek wedding) same problem happens. Before this started happening was haveing no problems at all. So i must Have screwed up somewhere.

Can someone pleaseeeeeeeeeee help, my kids are driving me crazy for this movie!
