InstantCopy crashing when trying to copy from HD to DVD

I'm currently in the process of converting a region 3 version of LOTR(That I own) to a region free format. The video rips without a hitch in DVD Decrypter, but when I try to copy it, it always die out at the same place every time(38.6MB, right when the special feature menu screen starts). Windows gives a error that says "MultiCopy has encountered an error and will close now...blah, blah, blah", and when I look at more info, it says it caused an error with vobtrans.ax(or something like it). I also tried to convert my copy of Initial D Movie, it ripped and converted it like a damn champ........I'm pretty much coming to the conclusion that it's a bad vob file or there's still some sort of copy protection left on it that it's not removed yet. Can anyone else help?

Nevermind, figured out that it was video_ts_01 causing the crash...the file is broken on the original disc...... grr.......anger, anger, anger.....
