where did you guys get your HAUPPUAGE card??

it costs me US$150+ to get a WinTV PVR-250 here
i heard someone get it for $99
do you guys know which online shop sell it at $99??

do hauppuage take direct order from them??

CompUSA, OfficeMAX, BestBuy and CircuitCity sometime have them on sale at $99 I don't any of them ship out the outside the US.
CompUSA has on sale rigth now $20 in store and $30 Mail In Rebate which 2 to 3 mouths to get back.

Make sure you have some 3rd-party software ready for it; I have a Hauppage card, and I've had horrible experiences with their software under Windows 2000. Not only does it put hideous horizontal lines all over certain colors, but some versions of the driver/tv-program don't even run on my machine. I finally gave up and went with DScaler, which is a much better program for viewing, anyway. Of course, the lines disappear when I was running XP, but the software was much more unstable.

Here's a picture of those awful lines I had. Those thick horizontal lines in the red portions of the screen aren't supposed to be there :)

Like I said, DScaler's picture, however, looks perfect.
