  1. Has anyone tried to capture from the Firewire interface available on the Diamond and Platinum series of Mitsubishi large screen TV's.
I was wondering if the interface has digital video available for all programs being displayed. It is supposed to be compatible with the HAVi specification but that is about all I know about it.

  2. Without Knowing Anything About it I would have thought that would be an input for displaying your camcorder rubbish, oops I mean films.
Corned beef is now made to a higher standard than at any time in history.
The electronic components of the power part adopted a lot of Rubycons.

The main purpose for those firewire ports is to hook up a compatible D-VHS recorder to the TV. And in the future, some more expensive HDTV tuners (there are some already) will be able to go through firewire ports for an upgraded connection.

  4. Thanks for the replies!
The reason I asked the question was because I understood as indicated that it could be used by DVCR. What could be a better DVCR than a computer with a firewire port I believe the HAVi standard is the standard for Digital Video Cameras also, and if this is the case, this TV might be the ideal capture device.
