Do I first have to put my uncompressed avi footage from my camera to my hard drive before converting to MPEG2 in TMPG? Im worried that the 40 minutes of avi from my camera is to big for my HD. I have 60 GIGS left, will this be enough room for the uncompressed avi? How much does one minute of uncompressed avi = on a hard drive.
Thanks,
Dominic

I think you mean 1 hour of DV-avi is 14Gb.
I have an hour of Huffy-compressed avi on my hard drive right now... it's 25Gb.
uncompressed avi is closer to 1Gb/minute.- housepig
