  1. Hi with my win98 i used to be able to capture perfectly with huffyuv, but now in win2k it skips and freezes and looses voice, i changed my drive settings to DMA and defragmented and it still doesn't fix it, could it be because my drive is ntfs, i tried all types of capture software, i can capture in mpeg2 in 352x288 using power vcr, but i prefer Huffyuv mjpeg,
my pc is pIII 800mhz, 512MB ram 20GB HDD, help.
    thanks

Things do not always go right with an upgrade. You are always much better off doing a clean install from scratch. Have you tried uninstalling/reinstalling the HuffyUV codec, or if you can't uninstall it, then reinstalling it over top of itself?

  4. Hello,

I'm using Win2000 sp3 with huffyuv with a ntfs drive and have no problem at all.

What capture card do you use? If it's a BT8xx chip base card, use the btwincap drivers.

Also, Win 2000 uses WDM driver instead VFW, for capture. So please, use Virtual VCR to capture. It's free and it's the best IMHO.

Also, try to capture without sound. Check for drivers, etc...

    Pitou.
