    I am using avi2vcd. My source file is .avi, when i try to convert to vcd format it says that my file is at 12 frames per second and that it needs to be at 25 frames per second for the conversion to take place.. Can this be done or can it be converted using other software????

    Use Tmpge and it will raise the frame rate up you want to use either 24 or 25.
