  1. Hi Guys could i have some assistaince please i dont know what i have done wrong.....

    My system :
    63 gb harddrive
    Sony 10x4x32 cdrw
    256 meg ram
    PIII 800 eb processor

    Software using ( Trying ):

    Easy cd creator plat 5.0
    Ulead studio 6.0
and a just about all the files avail for conversion avi2vdc ect....

Ok i have about 15 movies that i am trying to convert to be usable on vcd format , 99% are avi files but system says the format is not supported, my codecs are 100% up to date so i know its not that. So then i thought i would give the avi file thing a break and mess with some divx format .... well i fired up TMPGenc version 12a and proceeded to convert a divx movie 183mb to what i thought to be a MPG1 format now the size is about 483mb i think. after this was completed with no errors i fire up easy cd platnum and use the video cd wizard , this then said it cannot process because it is not a valid VCD format ..... i know im doing something wrong i just dont know what ..... a week ago i downloaded a vcd movie and the format was a *.dat file i managed to convert that and write that to my own vcd and it worked excellent quality was tops

Help would be greatly appreciated ... Im at work at the moment but maybe if someone would shoot me an icq number or a MIRc chat would be great when i get home of course hehe

  2. when you convert in tmpgenc, use a templat that has the word "vcd" in it...there are many you can choose from....one or two that comes with tmpgenc and some others that users made from this site.....also recommended highly is getting the latest version of tmpgenc (j i think) and then use the plugin toolame for audio which would render a drastically better audio output
